MM14 FINAL VARNISH GLOSS FINISH (MINERAL TURPS-BASED ACRYLIC RESIN)

This varnish produces a hard non-yellowing, protective coating similar in appearance to Damar. A final clear gloss varnish, quick drying, designed to give your painting that final "glow".

For an extra gloss look, allow the first coat of varnish to completely dry before applying the next coat.

Strippable, the varnish re-dissolves in mineral turpentine, which has no effect on Matisse acrylic paints: thus a painting may be completely cleaned and re-varnished without affecting the paint.

Ideal for use in restoration (may be used on oil paintings). Also called Retouch Varnish. For more details see the "Varnish Guide" .
